About OncoCompass
Cancer is complex, but understanding it does not have to be.
OncoCompass is an oncology education platform for medical students,
residents and doctors who do not practise oncology as their primary
specialty.
It explains important oncology concepts clearly and connects them with
the clinical decisions encountered in everyday medical practice.
Doctors outside oncology meet patients at different points in the cancer
journey. They may need to recognise a possible cancer, interpret a pathology
or imaging report, understand why a particular treatment has been recommended,
identify a treatment-related problem or help a patient make sense of what
happens next.
OncoCompass provides the knowledge and clinical context needed to approach
these situations with greater clarity and confidence.
What You Will Find on OncoCompass
- Clear explanations of foundational oncology concepts
-
Practical clinical articles on cancer diagnosis,
staging and treatment -

The objective is not simply to provide more information. It is to help

remember and apply.

Our Approach
OncoCompass helps readers navigate the complexity of cancer care. It uses
clear explanations and practical clinical cases to make oncology easier to
learn—without reducing it to a collection of oversimplified facts.
The aim is to help readers understand not only what is done in cancer care,
but also the clinical reasoning behind it.
